The successful restaurant chain relocated its headquarters to 40Ten Boston, Baltimore’s first heavy timber office building, known for its exposed timber structure, expansive glass lines, and 15-foot ceilings. Leveraging the building’s architectural character, NFD developed a layout that fulfilled all programmatic requirements while enhancing the space’s natural features. The reception area, with wood plank flooring, includes a custom reception desk and a branded feature wall. At the heart of the office, a centrally located break area functions as a hub for collaboration, offering a variety of seating options, game tables, and a fully equipped, stylish kitchen. Offices are enclosed with full-lite glass walls to promote natural light throughout the space. NFD provided full-scope services for the 8,400-square-foot project, including design development, construction documentation, millwork detailing, MEP coordination, and construction administration. The project was successfully completed in March 2025.
