In 2015, NFD led RCM&D through Workplace Strategy/Programming to help them reduce footprint while creating an environment to enhance their collaborative culture. By reducing the size and quantity of offices, standardizing on new, lower-partitioned workstations, enabling all staff access to natural light, and positioning executives for more transparency, NFD helped RCM&D create a work environment that truly supports collaboration and efficiency. The original renovation and re-stack of 36,000 sq ft phased project spanned the course of three years. NFD provided a power-packed design that allowed RCM&D to give back one full floor in the building, for huge savings over the ten-year lease term. Fast forward seven years, post-COVID, to the new way work happens. Moving away from the one large headquarters model, RCM&D again engaged NFD to plan numerous satellite locations to supplement a smaller headquarters and allow convenient access to employees, encouraging a hybrid work environment. Strategy meetings helped NFD plan several stylish, efficient offices in various locations convenient for clients and employees. This McHenry Row location serves as a satellite office which was completed in 2022, while NFD planned the 22,000 sq ft headquarters in Hunt Valley completed late 2024.
